The Annual Parish Meeting differs from the monthly Parish Council meetings as it is a meeting of Parish electors which takes place once a year around March/June times. Electors can contribute to the agenda of this meeting by contacting the Clerk prior to the meeting and these meetings often celebrate local activities and debate current issues in the community.
The Annual Parish Meeting will be held at 7.30pm Tuesday 11th June 2024 at Ryton Village Hall. Click the button on the left for the agenda and papers for this meeting.
The Parish Council wish to introduce this new scheme which will involve presenting awards to those people, organisations or businesses who are recognised by the Community and Parish Council for contributing significantly to the quality of life of those living in the parish by their community/public activity.
Special recognition may also be given to an individual/group for a very special activity; which not only benefits the parish but beyond!
The Parish Council believes that such community work, often voluntary, should be recognised.
Local nominations by the residents of Condover Parish are sought and are to be considered by the Parish Council in time for the results and the winners to be announced at the Annual Parish meeting which is scheduled to be held on Tuesday 19th April 2016.
Nominations should be made on the form provided below and must submitted to the Parish Clerk by 31st March 2016 at the latest.
